May 5 PRIVACY FENCE
Our first major project of the season on the property was to build a fence along the canal to provide privacy from the neighbor across the canal. We worried that we might feel ‘fenced in’ but we can still enjoy a view of the trees and canal without seeing the house. We chose not to install a gate because I observed deer passing through the opening to walk on the path alongside the canal. We had some help from our friends Dean & Wendy.
