Mavrik on the Mexican Riviera Feb. 10
Mavrik LOVED running on the beach, chasing anything that moved; bugs, trash and especially birds! He also learned to not drink sea water!

We saw quite a few flocks of pelicans, but have heard of problems in the population of brown pelicans in California. We (or rather Mavrik) found several pelican carcasses as well as 2 dead dolphins on the beach. All is not pristine in the waters of the Gulf of California.
