About Robert and Mary Jo.

Well, why are we doing this website? It seems like a good idea to keep in touch with friends, family, and the interesting people we meet along the way of life. We decided to go ‘on the road’ around 1996 when we took a month long trip to Alaska. We ended up making a detour to the Yukon and the Arctic Circle and we were hooked on the road! When we returned home (Bend, Oregon) our neighbor walked over and asked if we enjoyed our trip and were we ready to go again. We replied ‘fill her up, we’re out of here!’. It took us 7 years, but we finally made it in 2003!
