We had a wonderful time at a little party thrown by our neighbor Linda. It was officially a beading party, but we didn’t get much beading done. Instead we admired and enjoyed the appetizing looking and delicious hors d’oeuvres she provided. The phyllo wrapped “Embezzlers Purses” were filled with sausage, pine nuts, feta cheese and other delicacies and tied with a green onion stem. They were as beautiful to look at as the trays of beads Linda spread out to work with. Needless to say I spent more time with the Embezzlers Purses than the beads!
