March 21-27, 2021 Sweet Friends
Sweet friends came to the beach to visit.
“But yesterday the sunset was beautiful”
So we took them to Sweet Creek Falls.
March 7-13, 2021 From Covered Bridge to Kentucky Falls
Our first attempt to reach Kentucky Falls was stopped by snow at higher elevation. We did get to explore this covered bridge over Wildcat Creek, feeding into the Siuslaw river.
Our second attempt to reach Kentucky Falls via back roads was successful. One mile hike in brought us to the upper falls.
Another mile and a half brought us to the incredible lower falls, only half of which could fit in the photo!
