Another painting, depicting an ocotillo.

The healthy cactus in the back seems to be holding it’s arms out, with a round ‘mouth’ and two round ‘eyes’ above that, as if uttering an “oooh” of sympathy for the skeletal remains of the foreground cactus.

Our shadows are captured on the nearby rock face at Javelina Rocks in Saguaro National Park near Tucson, AZ, only during the vivid sunset!
