June 16 – Back to Drake
We returned to Drake, a newer restaurant in downtown Bend for their Monday special; Steak & Frites. They have an eclectic menu and everything has been delicious!
The roasted bone marrow appetizer when spread onto the crusty bread was fabulous!
June 9 – A Walk in the Park
Went to Drake Park downtown on a little walk.
A family of geese on the banks of Mirror Pond.
Had a Drake Margarita (for 3) to refresh. That’s a jalapeno pepper ring as garnish!
June 3 – Chicken Dinner
A grilled chicken and grilled corn on the cob with a guest for dinner. Doesn’t get any better than this!
Again, wish the aromas could be transferred through the net!
May 30 – Beerlesque
We joined in the fun with other Central Oregonians and visitors for Central Oregon Beer Week! Nine days of beer tastings, music, more beer tastings and dance! The culmination of all that fun and beer was the Deschutes Brewery Beerlesque show!
