The Yellow Submarine today, Feb. 10, 2011, almost completely submerged in the snow!

The big storm hit overnight and throughout the day. 24 inches in less than 24 hours! It is considered the 100 year storm for northwest Arkansas. Mavrik went out in the morning and got lost in the snow. He had to ‘porpoise’ over the surface, jumping like a deer! The falling snowflakes were so thick and the sky so gray that pictures just didn’t do justice to the scene.

Don had a lot of equipment he wanted to get rid of so I helped him put several things on Craigslist. This Exercycle is quite an interesting and photogenic piece of work.

And it has an ample seat!!

We celebrated Don’s birthday at a restaurant that featured a wonderful straight-ahead Jazz trio.
