Dec. 23 – Pictograph vs. Petroglyph
Pictograph vs. Petroglyph, actually it’s neither, but it looks really cool!
Dec. 18 – More from Yesterday
Yesterday after our domestic chores were done, the camper vacuumed out, cabinets dusted, nuts and bolts secure on the Jeepster, new tie downs for the cooler installed, etc., we decided to go for a drive and a walk. We had attempted to get to a rock formation we called ‘the china hat’ last season, but could make it only so far on foot. This time we drove the Jeepster to that point and continued on foot.
Dec. 17 – Domesticity
Today I felt the need to bake and clean house! Robert was busy finding the spots that nuts and bolts had fallen off of on the Jeepster, there were a few rolling around on the floor the last couple of days!

Who needs Christmas cookies when you can make homemade soft pretzels with gourmet salt from around the world!

Almost ready for the oven, just needs an egg white wash and a sprinkle of Mediterranean or maybe Australian salt.
Dec. 16 – Wash Fire Pit
Last season on one of our meandering walks around here we found an elaborate fireplace in a wash, constructed of rocks and sand from the wash. Robert marked it on his GPS and we looked it up today. We drove the Jeepster the 2 miles up the gas line road, then east on a 4WD track right to the location!
